All of the basics for camp can be found on the Hornets Nest Day Camp Flyer.

Still want more? Well we've got it for you. Please read the Camper Information for Parents document for details to help you prepare your scout for camp this summer.

As camp approaches we will begin to post pictures to the camp's Shutterfly website.

Camper & Staff Assignments

Below are the camper and staff assignments for day camp this summer.

Please keep in mind that these are preliminary and are subject to change before camp.

If you see a discrepancy with any of the information on these documents please contact the camp director.

Document Notes
Den Assignments Campers organized into dens. Dens should have scouts of the same rank. Campers of the same rank and unit should be in the same den.
Achievement Record What did your camper work on while at camp? Find it here.
Den Leaders Each den must have 2 adults each day. Every attempt was made to pair adults with their camper. However due to differences in unit volunteer ratios and partial week volunteers this is not always possible.
Station Staff List of staff for each of the stations at camp this summer. Not all stations list 2 adults. Gaps will be filled with daily floaters.
Staff Positions (Name) List of all adult staff sorted by last name.
Staff Positions (Unit) List of all adult staff sorted by unit.
Daily Schedules (Den) The week of daily schedules for den leaders.
Daily Schedules (Station) The week of daily schedules for station leaders.
Bethel Church Map Map of Bethel Church showing all stations and carpool routes.
Jetton Park Map Map of Jetton Park showing all stations and port-a-johns.
Transportation & Bus Plan Day Camp Transportation and Bus plan between the church and the park.

All staff is required to check in with the admin table each morning when arriving to camp. Please DO NOT go straight to your station or den table. Please let us know that you have arrived at camp each morning.

If a staff member is listed as "Floater" he/she will be assigned a position each morning. After check-in please wait at the admin table to be given your daily assignment. These floaters are important reserves in case other staff are unable to attend camp one or more days.

Junior staff not listed in any of the above documents are considered floaters. They may be assigned a 'permanent' position but this will determined the week of camp.

Registration Documents

If you are the Pack's unit coordinator for Day Camp and want to register your unit, please visit the Registration Page.

Registration forms are required for everyone that attends camp. Please bring all registration forms to one of the turn in dates listed in the schedule below. Do not take registration forms to the scout office on 7th St in Uptown Charlotte.

Please do not staple registration forms to BSA med forms. They go to different staff for processing and this makes things easier for us.

Make checks out to "BSA". Write "Hornets Nest Day Camp" and the unit number on the memo line. In the top left corner, please include a phone number if it is not already on the check.
